Godzilla Vs. Kong analysis

So Kong vs. Godzilla finally came out and my predictions were correct in saying that Godzilla was going to wash Kong, although Kong did win one round. In the end, however, Godzilla stared Kong in his eyes and stepped on his chest pushing Kong to the brink of death. Although we see Kong almost die and get resuscitated by humans there are still people who choose to believe that Kong won. I genuinely do not understand how people came to this conclusion, but I chose to just accept the fact that Godzilla is way stronger than Kong anybody who disagrees with that fact doesn't have a valid opnion.
