The A line gown got it's name from the bottom that flows down naturally from the fabric used | Empire waist gowns have a recognizable corset waist that made it popular in the late 18th and early 19th century, it was usually paired with a fancy hat | The ruffled gown is basically a gown/dress decorated with ruffles | There are also many gowns from different countries, including Japanese style gowns that's recognized from the kimono style it has. | There are also Chinese dresses although there are many different kinds of Chinese dresses from different dynasties, My favorite is this one from the Wei & Jin Dynasty |
