Look back at the Bulls Trade

Was the Vucevic trade good one?bullsI'm pretty sure you guys have heard and seen the trades that happened at this past deadline and how the teams have performed since then. Bulls traded for 2x all star Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu in exchange for them they gave up Wendell Carter Jr, Otto Porter Jr. and two first-round picks. Since the trade for Vucevic in the last 10 games since the trade the bulls have a record of 3-7, but we have seen a increase in assist, offensive rebounding, fields goals made and a decrease in turnovers, but we have also seen a decrease in field goal percentage, shot creation and field goal attempts and a major decrease on the defensive end. What I have found interesting is the bulls offensive pace has slowed down since the trade also so its possible that they are taking their time on offense more looking to create more space and free up some shooters which is why we could see a increase in field goals made. But even after this trade bulls are still 11th seed with a current 5 game losing streak. There biggest issue now is on the defensive end since the trade the bulls are now one of the top 5 worst defenses in the league allowing more pts per game, less defensive turnovers, a increase in the opposing teams offensive field goal percentage and a decrease in the fouling percentage in my eyes that could be a bad thing in their situation because In their situation I look at it as a lose of tenacity and effort on the defensive end. So overall my grade on this trade is a hard C because we have seen increases on the offensive end but that's it defensively has decreased in almost every category and the team is still performing bad as a whole with no real help at the wing and poor performance at the PG position and with Vucevic already being 30yrs old this team needs to make a few more moves in the next 1-2 seasons to really be contenders.
