Photoshop is a software that alters digital images to your liking. Photoshop almost allows you to change or add special effects to any image. As a Webstar at the Marin city library its mandatory for you to learn the basics of photoshop. It helps a lot especially when the time comes for you to use the skills you learned whenever someone needs help. Learning Photoshop is essential if you work in graphic design, web design, or user experience role. Yet it is also equally important to learn Photoshop for those working in hands-on marketing roles. Whether creating flyers, brochures, or email newsletters, there is a need to know Photoshop for optimizing and retouching images. The Learning path of photoshop will help artists become proficient in photo manipulation techniques. But it is not as easy as it looks photoshop can be hard at times it was hard for me during the start but with the help of my peers, I managed to get past any tough challenges. Most people get lost and upset when they try jumping straight into intermediate and advanced features. This can get confusing and make Photoshop seem complex because you don't first have a solid grasp on the fundamentals. Nail down the basics first, and you'll find Photoshop fun and easy to use. During the beginning of photoshop it's good to learn about fundamentals like resizing, cropping, and basic color adjustments, and know about the different graphic file formats.
